Fall Wishlist
I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time believing it's September already! While I wish we had another month of summer weather, I am looking forward to fall clothes. There are five items I currently have on my wish list, and hopefully I can find some good deals or do some thrifting!
1. Grey skinny jeans
I actually only own 2 pairs of skinny jeans, so maybe it's time to add another one to my closet? I just got a 50% off in the mail at Gap, so I might have to stop by and see if they have any grey skinnies!
2. Gingham button-down
I feel like gingham totally says Fall, don't you think?
3. Mustard yellow scarf
Actually with all the scarves I own, I'm surprised I don't own one in mustard! Such a fall color and will be something I can use during all the cold-weather months :)
4. Ankle-length black dress pants
Yes, this is more of a warm-weather item, but these have been on my list for quite awhile (haven't found a good deal on them yet!). I feel like I could get pretty good wear out of them before the snow starts to fly, and definitely will be something I can use for years to come.
5. Transitional jacket
Haha, this is pretty much like my vest with sleeves :) Surprisingly for living in MN, I really don't have a transitional jacket. I do have a couple fleeces that I wear when it starts to get cool, but nothing like this. I did almost buy a cute mustard yellow one last year from the clearance rack, but decided not to... I'm still kicking myself over that one!

Ooooohhh I'd wear ALL of those!! I love infinity scarves - I just can't get the regular ones to work!
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly I don't own any infinity scarves yet. I tie my regular ones up to look like infinity ones, but then they get kind of lumpy in the back. This might have to be my first one!
DeleteLove all of these picks, especially the mustard scarf! I need to get a pair of gray skinnies for fall!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I actually found a pair of grey (or maybe faded black??) skinnies today at Loft. 50% off their regular priced items! Can't beat that kind of deal :)
DeleteI hope you get a couple things off your fall wishlist. Have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! I hope you have a great one too!
DeleteI know you know how I feel about gray skinny jeans and mustard! Great fall pics!
ReplyDeleteI think I really got the inspiration for gray jeans off of your blog :) Can't go wrong with a great neutral and fun fall color!
DeleteGood choices! Now I am dying to do some shopping!
ReplyDeleteI am too! I really need to find something else to do so I don't run out to the stores! haha
DeleteStopping by from the link up. Love grey skinnies-- and they would definitely pair well with that mustard scarf!

They would be really cute together... and with a lot of other things too! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love everything on your list!! Wish we could go shopping together to find them :) I'd also love to find a tulle skirt, great flannel/plaid button down and some ankle boots.
ReplyDeleteOoo I like your items too! I think I might have to add ankle boots to my list too :)
DeleteAhhh! How did I not realize you live in Minnesota?! That's awesome :) I like a lot of these items you linked to as well. I have a pair of skinny jeans that used to be black, but they've faded so much that they look gray now, haha! They're still in great shape and they're super comfortable, so I wear them all the time (I actually have them on right now, haha). I can't recommend those black ankle pants enough. I have the same pair, and they're so comfortable! I wear my ankle pants all year round, to be honest. I just wait for days that are over 30 degrees in the winter, and when it's not super snowy outside (although, sometimes I wear my boots to work and change into flats so I can still wear them outside, haha!).
ReplyDeleteHaha I think I may have only mentioned it indirectly, so probably not many know where I live! :) I actually tried the pixie pants on the other day at the store, and (probably because I'm so short) they fit like regular length pants! Which I guess would be perfect for MN winters anyway :) I usually wear boots to work too in the winter, so they would probably work out pretty well!
DeleteGray skinnies have been on my mind, too! I love the color mustard. I have a solid mustard fringy scarf and I wear it all the time in the fall/winter. Love your list!
ReplyDeleteMustard is such a great cold-weather color!
DeleteI also need numbers 2, 4 & 5. Except I'd love 5 in a khaki color and I want the vest version of that in olive, too. LOL
