Glamping

Whoops, again sorry for the sunny pictures :-P I wore this outfit on our first cool day last week. Of course the next day it was back into the 80's, but at least I got to bust out my cool-weather gear! I knew I wanted to layer something with my vest, so I decided on my trusty plaid top from Old Navy, which kind of makes me look like I'm ready to go camping, haha. I decided to pair this outfit with my Kendra Scott-inspired earrings (which were only $3!!) to make my outfit a little more glam, hence 'glamping!'


Plaid top: Old Navy (similar)
Vest: Old Navy (same)
Shoes: Toms (same)


Here's my face! haha We actually do have some 'real' camping planned soon, so I may have to at least recreate the vest and top, add some hiking boots and I'll be all set to go!

    Oooo the background for the last picture is pretty perfect. Love the color of that siding. The glamping thing is hysterical. Next weekend, my parents and I are going on an RV trip to the beach, and I feel like that qualifies as glamping, haha. Love the pop of fun and fancy the earrings add. They were $3!?!?! Holy moly.

      We actually just got done painting the blue recently- maybe I'll have to use it as my background more often! That sounds like a fun trip! I wish we had an RV last night- it cooled down to the 30's and we were freezing in our tent! Tons of layers and we still weren't warm enough!

    I agree with Danielle- that last photo is my favorite. I would use it for my background all the time if I had a blue wall. I actually wore my cargo vest on an airplane this summer, and I found it sooo useful. A pocket for my phone. A pocket for my iPod. A pocket for some cash. A pocket for some candy. What more could you ask for?! Also, great steal on the earrings!

      Ooo, we are going on a flight next month and I think I'll have to wear it on the plane too! I love having lots of pockets to hold things :)

    This is such a perfect outfit for transitioning into fall! Full of closet essentials - a utility vest, Toms, skinny jeans, a button-down. Love it!
