Fancy Foilage

So I thought the print on my skirt was floral, but if you look closer, it's just a bunch of leaves! haha I better not stand in front of a tree or I might disappear... Anyway, I'm pretty sure every time I wear this skirt, I wear it with a black top. Don't ask me why. I do like the contrast between the black and the green/white, but I should really try it out with other things now and again!

 Skirt: Merona via Goodwill
Top: The Limited
Shoes: Payless
Necklace: Thrifted at Turn Style
Earrings: The Limited

I was hoping my Kendra Scott inspired necklaces would have come in the mail by the time I wore this outfit, but they didn't, so I decided to wear my new necklace I got in July during one of my thrifting excursions. $2.38! Can't beat that price for a piece of jewelry! I like how delicate and simple it is to keep the very feminine feel of the whole outfit going.

Zoe! Wouldn't look at the camera, but had to be in the picture :) Just imagine when I have a dog and kids! I'll never have a picture on my own again ;)

  1. You could try a pink or white top with the skirt. My dog use to love jumping in pictures to.

  3. I think sticking to cool colours on top as it looks like a muted bluey green colour. I love the shade plus the leaves pattern. Well done for getting such bargains!

  4. That dog is killing me right now that I'm losing focus on what I planned to say. Don't worry. I've got a steel trap for a mind, and it's thinking about how great the length of that skirt is.

  5. Love that beautiful Midi Skirt. Try pairing it with Cobalt and then with Yellow. Those are the 2 colors that would go best with it. Next try Red and you can make do with a Holiday Outfit that way. I promise you all the 3 Primary Colors look fantastic with Green.

And yes Vivian wants to be in my OOTD pics most time. Thank God for cropping. LOL

  6. Maria,
A great midi skirt is always FABULOUS and this one looks awesome on you. You can definitely try orange as an alternative to the black as well. Thank you so very much for linking up with the Thrift Sisters. We truly appreciate your support.
