Pinspired: Utility Vest
Valerie Petersen!!
Congrats!! Check your email! And thank you to everyone who entered and who follow my little blog :) It really means a lot to me!
For today's outfit, I decided to copy this pin which encompasses two of my favorites, stripes and vests! I love my utility vest, but for some reason am having a harder time styling it during the winter. Maybe because it's much thinner than all of my other vests? No matter what the reason, Pinterest to the rescue and to give me new ideas!
Vest: Old Navy (similar)
Tee: The Limited (similar)
Jeans: Loft (similar)
Boots: Just Fab (similar)
Scarf: Thrifted (similar)
Necklace: Groopdealz (similar)
Earrings: Old Navy (similar)
Here are a few other ways I've worn this vest:

Love how you recreated the look! I don't wear my utility vest much in the winter either, and it's definitely because it's not as thick and warm as my puffer vests.
ReplyDeleteThanks Inge! I'm hoping now that the weather is starting to warm up a bit I'll be more inspired to bring this vest out more!
DeleteThis is seriously adorable! I haven't broken out my utility jacket since it doesn't provide any warmth at all! Stripes and leopard are my favorite combo. I'll have to copy this once the weather warms up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren! I'm hoping to get more wear out of this now that it's starting to warm up a little :)
DeleteI love your recreation! Stripes, leopard and olive look fabulous together!

Thank you Jill!
DeleteI really wanted to wear my military vest today but it was just too dang cold. I plan on wearing it with my striped top as soon as the weather warms up.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad it's a thinner material, but I'm sure it will get lots of use this spring!
DeleteI need to get on the utility vest bandwagon. I like the way you styled yours Maria! Thank you for your kind words and prayers today on the blog, it means a lot.

DeleteWhat a cute outfit, Maria. I really need a military vest. I am wearing my military jacket IRL as I am typing this. You look so cute and on trend!

Thank you Ada! I'm pleasantly surprised how versatile this vest really is! A military jacket is now something on my wish-list as a transition jacket for spring!
DeleteGreat recreation, love the leopard and stripes paired with the cute military vest!
