Weekend Wears

Yikes, the bags under my eyes... anyway this was an outfit I wore to church on Sunday that was kind of a work in progress. I picked my capris, then went through a couple different shirts, then a couple necklaces, then decided something was missing, so I added the cardigan for a bit of dimension. It was a steamy day outside, but nice and cool inside with the AC, so the cardigan worked perfectly.

I also played around with different backgrounds for my pictures, so here you can see the blue we just painted on our house!

 Capris: Target
Tee: The Limited
Cardigan: Target
Sandals: JC Penney
Necklace: Farmer's Market

I'm not sure if I've worn these sandals for my blog or not. I got them just before our wedding a couple years ago from JC Penney. I've pretty much worn them out the past couple years, and they are starting to fall apart! For a situation that doesn't involve much walking, they are okay, but will probably have to be retired before too long :(

Yeah, not really sure what's going on with the lines in my shirt either... oh well. Just keeping it real y'all. (Like I just said y'all. To be more geographically appropriate, I should have said 'you guys, don cha know.)

  1. Don't you hate it when for favorite shoe start to fall apart. Also got to love a simple outfit on the weekends.

  2. I just had to replace my favorite sandals, too! Such a bummer when those things happen!

  3. Cute look, esp. the pretty floral necklace. I like the different backgrounds, too! That is such a nice blue on your home. I had to retire a pair of sandals that I'd had for years recently and haven't been able to find a replacement that I like as much - so disappointing!

  4. I am going to retire my pretty silver gladiator sandals that I wore when we did our collaboration together. I sent them to be fixed right before our challenge and now the other sandal's strap needs to be fixed. I am bumped. They didn't get any wear last year and very little this year but the first Summer I bought them, I wore them a lot. I still think with fixing I can wear them some more. Your mixed flower necklace is gorgeous. And I love the new blue paint on your home.
