Green popover

Hello ladies! I hope everyone had a good weekend! Ours was pretty busy- we went camping Friday night to Saturday afternoon. The lows on Saturday night were in the 30's, so it got pretty cold when we were sleeping! We had on so many layers and blankets and Zoe ended up being our little heater in between us. But we had fun and did lots of walking! Yesterday we put together a buffet/island for our kitchen and I actually did some baking and make pretzels! I love cooking, but I hardly ever bake (mainly because I eat everything I make!).

Last Sunday (so a week ago) I finally got around to dying my hair! I'm cheap and like to do it myself, and I had bought a box of dye a couple months ago, but just never got around to doing it. The color is Malaysian Cherry and it's a deep red. (I actually used to dye my hair deep red all throughout high school.) I feel like it really gives a pop to my outfits, especially certain colors like this green top I'm wearing below!

Top: Target (similar/similar)
Pants: The Limited (similar)
Shoes: Target (similar/similar)
Necklace: Purple Peridot (different color/Kendra Scott)

It's kind of hard to tell from these inside pictures what color my hair is, but I have a picture tomorrow outside so you'll be able to tell better. But I really like the contrast of the red against the green! It's crazy how a change of hair can really change the dynamic of an outfit!

Here's a couple of other ways I've styled this top:

    1. Thanks Jill! I really like when I have red hair, although it does fade rather quickly.

  2. Lovely hair color Maria, you are so brave. I would be scared to mess my hair up if I did it. Great top too! Rachel xo

    1. Thanks Rachel! Haha I was a little nervous it wouldn't turn out as it was sitting on my head processing, but luckily it turned out okay :)

    1. I had blonde highlights in high school and it ended up being pretty bright! I've always wanted to try a darker blonde to see what it looks like, but I don't think I'll ever be that brave :)
