Teal, Black, and White

This look is almost opposite of yesterday's look. It's made up of thrifted items, outlet finds, online deals, and super clearance items! I always love finding a good deal, and an outfit full of them is my cup of tea!

Top: ThredUp ($7.16)
Skirt: Loft ($4? Super Clearance!)
Sweater: Banana Republic Outlet ($9)
Shoes: Payless
Necklace: GroopDealz ($10.98)
Earrings: The Limited

So technically I wore this outfit last week when it was still technically 'summer,' but I'm not the person who has separate wardrobes for each season. I keep everything out all year round and mix-and-match all 12 months of the year! Some things I won't wear, obviously, like shorts or sweaters, but shirts like this that some may only wear in warmer months are fair game all year! Especially since teal/turquoise is one of my favorite colors, I can see myself layering this under a sweater for a fun pop of color this winter.

What about you? Are you the type of person who wears clothes all year round, or do you have separate clothes for specific seasons?

I've also decided lately that I must be petite, haha. For one, this necklace should fit the average-size person, but if I wear it normally, it would have come way down over the top of my skirt! I had to clip it way past the chain lenthener to have it look normal. Also, I was thrifting the other weekend and tried on a petite-sized top and it fit me perfectly! Also this skirt I bought in a petite size too. Has this happened to anyone else or am I just crazy for not realizing it sooner? haha

  1. I wear most of my things year round except shorts. Such a cute look! The teal color looks great on you!

    1. Thanks Jill! I don't see how people could wear shorts all year round. Even with tights on underneath, it would be way too cold for that here!

  2. I keep my clothes out all year around. Mainly due to Germany has bi-poplar weather. One day super nice then the next it will be crappy. I truly I'm truly in love with your necklace.

    1. I think I first saw this necklace on your blog! I wonder if it is a different length if you go with different sellers?

  5. Same here!! I love a good bargain... always on the prowl for deals or thrift stores. It is a more fulfilling shopping experience for me. Plus, gives you more option in your closet. Love thredup, that is an adorable top you got from the site :)

A new post is up on the blog. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you are able to drop by:http://www.fashchronicles.blogspot.com

  6. I try to wear my clothes year-round, but obviously I'm not going to wear turtlenecks in June or shorts in January. I also have a hard time getting myself to wear bright floral prints in winter, but that's just me. I found the necklace slightly too long too, but I couldn't figure out how to make it shorter without tying a knot in the back. -- It wouldn't clip on to any of the little links!

    1. I should tie a knot in the back instead. I did get mine to clip on the little links, but then the clip kept showing out from under my collar! Maybe I can figure out a way to remove some of the links instead.
