Making a bland outfit pop

I wore this outfit over the weekend. I wasn't feeling very creative in my outfit pics that day, but I didn't want to look just okay. So I took out my statement necklace from Edith Marie and gave a pop to this outfit!

  Jeans: Gap
Sweater: Old Navy
Shirt: Gap
Shoes: Old Navy
Necklace: Edith Marie

It was also pretty cold this day. Probably even boots weather. But I'm determined to not wear boots or winter coats again until next winter!

Excuse the tired eyes. I guess I have to take outfit pictures earlier than 8:30 at night.

How do you give fun pops to otherwise bland outfits?

  2. Love it, and your shoes add a nice polished shine to it. Rachel btw that's a pretty colored cardigan.

  3. It is so easy, put-together and chic, Maria. It pops. The cardigan, shoes & necklace are NOT boring at all. Loving the gold flats & statement necklace, especially. It has been cold here. I don't want to wear boots either, not until October at least.

You should link this Outfit here (link below) because that Cardigan qualifies as Radiant Orchid for sure.

Have a Great Evening, Ada. =)

  4. Maria, I'm so glad you are linking up with us! I love discovering new blogs and I can't wait to check out yours. I think you did a great job with this outfit; the statement necklace really does make the whole outfit pop. I, too, am determined not to wear boots again--I even packed them away in the attic! I froze yesterday, but I'm hoping my stubbornness will bring on the sunshine permanently :)

  5. thank you so much for joining our pantone link up! the color of your sweater is so pretty and i'm a sucker for a statement necklace, so i love that you've added that to your outfit! here's to hoping our minnesota weather is at least seasonally appropriate one of these days, that's all i'm asking for :)
