Budget Babes: Gladiator Sandals
I'm teaming up with the sweet Ada of Elegance & Mommyhood to bring to you our budget-conscious trends for summer! The whole idea is to show you how you can try out all the in-fashion trends without breaking the bank to do so. Each of our pieces this week is $20 or under, with our total outfit price not exceeding $75.
Today's trend is gladiator sandals. You can get them more simple with a few straps that only come up to your ankle, or you can get crazy with a 'cage' that goes all the way up to your knee! I'll admit, I wasn't crazy about this trend when it first came out, but I love the sandals I found at Payless during their bogo sale!
Gladiator Sandals (Payless): $14.55
Teal Dress (Target): $25 (?)
Earrings/Bracelet (Gift): $0
Total = $39.55
I love the coral color and that they're a more 'simplified' version of other styles you see out there. Since they have more going on than your traditional sandal, I kept things simple with a coral bracelet and earrings, and wore a complimentary teal dress. Perfect and simple for a warm summer day!
Apparently great minds think alike when it comes to styling our gladiator sandals with bright, summery dresses! I really love Ada's pink dress with the metallic sandals that play off the detailing in the straps of her dress. Super cute!
Now it's your turn to show us your budget gladiator sandals look! The link-up is below and will run through the 23rd at midnight CST, so you have plenty of time to link up all of this week's looks.
We would please ask that you follow both Ada and I on Bloglovin' so you can keep up with each of this week's trends.

Pretty summertime look! I would definitely go with the simpler take on gladiators too. I did try some of the tall caged ones on at Nordstroms and they were really fun to wear but I didn't see them being practical for my everyday life.
