Recaps and Stripes
I wanted to start off today's post by thanking everyone who joined Ada and I in our Budget Babes link-up last week! We had over 50 link-ups, which is pretty awesome! The link-up is still open today and tomorrow, so make sure you link-up some of your favorite budget, summer trends looks!
I also wanted to share some of my favorite looks Ada and I put together last week. My favorites from Ada were her Midi Skirt look and her Gladiator Sandals look.
I just can't get enough of that striped skirt (and she paired it with one of my favorite colors!) and the dress she wore with her gladiator sandals is such a gorgeous color and great for the warmer summer weather!
I think it's kind of funny, my favorite looks are both my least expensive (maxi dress) and most expensive (midi dress) outfits!
I really like how I thought outside of the box in styling my maxi skirt as a dress, and I really like my hair in both pictures :) haha
And now for today's outfit, I pulled out my new striped dress from Target again, and put a cardigan over it to wear to church last Sunday.
Dress: Target
Wedges: Target
Cardigan: Old Navy
Earrings: Etsy
Haha I love the look I'm giving in this picture:
Here is the other way I've styled this dress so far, when we were on vacation in Door County:
I love the chevron stripes on the top of the dress! Such a cute & versatile dress!

You look adorable in your striped maxi! I love that the top is more of a chevron!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great dress! I love how versatile it is with the button down over the top too!
ReplyDeleteI loved that striped skirt look of Ada's too! And your maxi is so cute! I love both ways you styled it!
ReplyDeleteLove the striped dress! I think your side bun looks pretty fancy, too!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful dress and love the styling with the chambray shirt.

Gorgeous striped maxi dress and I love how you styled it. The red wedges are pretty and a great choice for this. I love Black, White & Red together.
ReplyDeleteWonderful recap also. Love how your own 2 favorite looks were also my most 2 favorite looks from you. Also my Midi Skirt Look was one of my top 2 favorites. The Pink Dress came to a close third. Great minds think alike, no?
It was a pleasure doing this with you. You are beautiful and thrifty and always look super chic on a budget. Our link-up was great as well.
Enjoy this week Maria. <3 Ada.
The dress looks so good in you. I adore the pairing with the chambray. Stripes is so versatile so as the cut so this dress will get lots of summer mileage. Thanks for visiting my blog again and stay in touch.
