Style Swap: Chambray and Mustard
Happy Friday! We've made it through another week! I'm linking up for the first time for Style Swap with Ginny and Jenn! I've been looking at these posts since they first started the linkup, but finally decided to get off my butt and join in the fun! (It's hard not having internet at home and doing this blog mostly from work- there's so much more I'd do, but I just don't have the time!)
Apparently this exact outfit is a go-to, because I wore pretty much the same thing a couple weeks ago... womp womp. Anywhoo, Ginny at My New Favorite Outfit did a post a couple months ago on styling boyfriend cardigans and one of her outfits was styled with a chambray, which I thought I could copy and put my own twist on! (because I wear this all the time anyway...)
Hubby said I should do some different poses, so I gave him an over-exaggerated 'blogger' pose. Hot, no?

Instead of leggings, I'm wearing my skinny legging jeans from Gap (my favorite!) and instead of boots, wore my new flats from Gap (they were under $9 after the Friends and Family sale last weekend!) I like the unexpected pop of color the pink in the flats bring :)
Jeans: Gap
Chambray: Old Navy
Cardigan: Target
Flats: Gap
Scarf: Gift
Earrings: The Limited
That is awesome that you happen to wear the same outfit already. I like your flats and how they bring out the outfit. I have been wondering about the style swap and considering it myself. If you ever want to style swap each other just give a holla. But you nailed Ginny's look perfectly. She is such a sweet lady glad you got to pair up or next to her :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm bummed that was the last style swap, but maybe there's another one out there we could find!
DeleteYou look adorable :) I love how this transitioned to spring with the flats too. Thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginny!

I was so surprised when they rang up that price! Got to love the Friends and Family sale :)
DeleteYou're too cute! I'm not much of a scarf person =/ but I guess that's because I live in San Diego, CA. I used to wear some when I live on the east coast.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we definitely have the weather for scarves most of the year!
