Weekend Happenings

I hope you all had a good weekend! They have been going too fast for my taste, but hopefully that means this week will go by just as fast!

After work and lunch, I did a run to Target, CVS, and Walgreens and had awesome success with coupons and deals! I got the following from all 3 of those stores:

After coupons, my out of pocket cost was about $40, plus I got back $10 in register rewards/bucks back! So basically $30 for all of this!! I was pretty excited at Target, especially, when my total came to almost $60, but I paid less than $20!! If you are interested in finding some of the deals I do, check out it's where I find most of my information from!

I didn't feel like making dinner that night, so we got a deep dish pizza from Green Mill (yum!) and watched a movie/I worked on a craft for my V-day mantle (which I'll share in a post later this week!)

I finished my mantle project, I went to Zumba with my sister-in-law, did some grocery shopping, and did some house cleaning.

We went to church in the morning, then I worked at organizing my coupons into a binder that afternoon (which is turning into quite the process!). We didn't do anything special for the Super Bowl (other than watch it on our couch)- I made some homemade pickle chips (recipe to come tomorrow!)- then I cut out of the game early to watch Downton Abbey (my favorite way to finish off the weekend!)

  1. m&m's and twix and dr. pepper? some sort of candy trifecta- yum! and how is zumba? i keep hearing good things but haven't convinced myself to go just yet... :)

    1. Haha I didn't even realize all the goodies I got! You should try Zumba! I love it! Everyone is there to have a good time, there's people there of all skill levels and it gets you moving!

  2. Wow, lady! You are doing great with your couponing! I gotta say I am kinda jealous. I would love to save some money! I think I am going to check out that website for real!

    1. You should check it out! I've definitely been working at it for a while, but it's definitely worth it with shopping trips like this!
