Weekend Happenings

I hope you all had a good weekend! They have been going too fast for my taste, but hopefully that means this week will go by just as fast!

Friday

After work and lunch, I did a run to Target, CVS, and Walgreens and had awesome success with coupons and deals! I got the following from all 3 of those stores:

After coupons, my out of pocket cost was about $40, plus I got back $10 in register rewards/bucks back! So basically $30 for all of this!! I was pretty excited at Target, especially, when my total came to almost $60, but I paid less than $20!! If you are interested in finding some of the deals I do, check out passionforsavings.com- it's where I find most of my information from!

I didn't feel like making dinner that night, so we got a deep dish pizza from Green Mill (yum!) and watched a movie/I worked on a craft for my V-day mantle (which I'll share in a post later this week!)

Saturday

I finished my mantle project, I went to Zumba with my sister-in-law, did some grocery shopping, and did some house cleaning.

Sunday

We went to church in the morning, then I worked at organizing my coupons into a binder that afternoon (which is turning into quite the process!). We didn't do anything special for the Super Bowl (other than watch it on our couch)- I made some homemade pickle chips (recipe to come tomorrow!)- then I cut out of the game early to watch Downton Abbey (my favorite way to finish off the weekend!)

    1. You should check it out! I've definitely been working at it for a while, but it's definitely worth it with shopping trips like this!
